Our laboratory uses the most advanced technologies for molecular diagnosis, such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR), quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), digital PCR, DNA arrays and DNA sequencing.
Our Products
We currently have two innovative products. O Teste da Mulher includes a kit for vaginal fluid collection or self-collection for subsequent detection of high oncogenic risk human papillomaviruses (HPV), which are the main cause of cervical cancer. The Oncoalert is a test performed on a blood sample that can give you a warning signal and be the first step in the early detection of colorectal cancer.

The infoCOVID-19 service consists in the detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA using real-time PCR technology. The results are transmitted within 24 hours.

The infotipoHPV service consists in the detection and identification HPV genotypes and is available in 3 modalities with results available in an average of 3 to 7 business days, depending on the type of test requested.

The infoDSTs service allows the detection of infectious agents of the urogenital tract by PCR, detecting up to 8 pathogens in all types of biological samples within a maximum of 5 working days.

Infogene strives to master all the competencies required to go through the innovation cycle for the development of products in the field of medical devices for in vitro diagnosis with application in cancer screening, from conception to product launch onto the market. To this end, we have developed relevant expertise in areas such as technical design and prototyping, industrial property and regulatory issues, preparation of technical documentation for conformity assessment, CE labeling and wholesale distribution of medical devices.
